Following her studies in stage design at the Berlin Weissensee School of Art Reinhild began working in theater and opera. She has designed productions at the Muenchner Kammerspiele, Wiener Festwochen, Staatsschauspiel Hannover, Staatstheater Kassel, as well as independent projects with Opera Factory Zurich, Neue Oper Wien and Zeitgenössische Oper Berlin.

Since 2005 she has been active as a production designer with a focus on auteur films. Her credits include collaborations with Thomas Arslan, Angela Schanelec, Julian Radlmaier, Èlise Girard and Ulrich Köhler.
For television she conceived several seasons of the comedy series ‘Doppelhaushälfte’ by Dennis Schanz.

In addition, Reinhild has designed sets for video artist Andreas Bunte (Skulptur Projekte Münster 2017) and curated a group exhibition with space-related objects together with artists Dinah Khouri and Arhun Arksakal (‘Alt- at Rote Insel’ Berlin, 2024).
